This morning I woke up thinking that I’m so happy to be home now enjoying a bit of daily routine. Before editing this video I didn’t realize how much I traveled this year so far 🤣 I surfed and slept in the desert in Morocco with the beduins 🇲🇦, went to Spain to see my best friends 🇪🇸 , from where I flied to Brazil 🇧🇷 where I realized it is the place where I wanna live (for now). Then I went to Portugal 🇵🇹 , Spain 🇪🇸 again and Italy 🇮🇹 from where I flied to Dubai & Abu Dhabi 🇦🇪 for business (I was sure I would hate it but now I actually like it); from there I went to Tanzania 🇹🇿 where I did a Safari, saw many wild animals, lived with a Maasai Tribe and visited one of the most beautiful islands on this planet (Zanzibar). Am I done? NOT YET! After that I went to Qatar 🇶🇦 and I found it very fascinating! From there I flied to Albania 🇦🇱 where I started a roadtrip with my best friends and also went to North Macedonia 🇲🇰 to visit its famous lake. Finally I came to Italy 🇮🇹 to see my family before going back to Brasil. 🔜 I know it’s a lot to do in only 8 months but traveling makes me feel alive like nothing else. I’m so glad to have a remote job that makes all this possible. It’s been more than a month now, since I visited this Maasai tribe in Tanzania to write a reportage about their incredible culture and way of life. I wasn’t ready to talk about it until now, too many feelings to process. What I encountered was far more than I ever expected, it was a stark reminder of the deep poverty that many people face everyday. The children in this tribe have so much potential, but they lack access to basic education 🥲 These kids deserve a chance to learn, grow, and build a brighter future. Desde el primer momento que llegué a Brasil, el 3 de enero de 2018, supe que Rio era mi lugar 🫶🇧🇷 Recién había acabado el máster en Barcelona y mi primera pasantía en una agencia de comunicación, así que decidí esperar un poco más para buscar un trabajo estable y me fui 3 meses a Rio de Janeiro trabajando en un hostel. Mi querido @aurorariohostel 🥰 A partir de ese momento todo cambió: ya no estaba tan segura de querer vivir en Barcelona, pero no tenía dinero para seguir viajando. Entonces volví a España, encontré trabajo en una multinacional para ganar experiencia en mi área, ahorré durante dos años y volví a Brasil, donde empecé a trabajar como periodista freelance (ganaba muy poco pero lo que quería era hacer un portfolio y poco a poco ir ganando más). Lo que yo quería era vivir en RIO ganando en euros 💶 Pero, por cosas de la vida, un año después, durante mi viaje por América Latina, acabé en la República Dominicana durante dos años, hasta que entendí que mi lugar siempre había sido ella: A cidade maravilhosa ♥️🇧🇷 Hoy, 6 años y medio después de nuestro primer encuentro, estoy TAN FELIZ de haber vuelto para quedarme… y ganando mucho más de lo que me esperaba 😹🙌 TE AMO BRASIL! 🇧🇷
