Hello traveler!
At 19, I left my beautiful hometown of Naples to move to Milan, where I studied Languages and Communication. During my second year of university, I made what would become one of the best decisions of my life: applying for the Erasmus programme. I spent the 2013–2014 academic year in Alicante, southern Spain, studying Journalism. It was there that I discovered my passion for immersing myself in new cultures, meeting people from different backgrounds, and broadening my perspective on the world.
After graduating, I moved to Barcelona, where I earned a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Digital Marketing. I spent around four years there, working in Marketing and Communications for agencies, multinational companies, and start-ups. Although I found professional fulfilment, I soon realized that the traditional office routine wasn’t for me. I craved freedom, adventure, and the chance to create a life on my own terms.
So, I decided to take a leap of faith: I left the security of a conventional career and started my freelance journey from scratch, embracing all the uncertainty and challenges that came with it. It wasn’t always easy, but looking back, I can proudly say that I made my dream a reality!
Today, my life is one continuous adventure, taking me from one destination to another, discovering new cultures, sharing stories, and embracing the freedom to live and work on my own terms.
As a digital nomad for over 7 years, I’ve worked with clients and companies from all over the world, taking my office wherever there’s an internet connection. For me, every destination is a new source of inspiration, and every journey is an opportunity to discover new stories worth sharing.
I’ve visited more than 60 countries, but Latin America holds a special place in my heart. I’ve lived in Brazil, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica, and explored much of Central and South America. I’ve also lived in Japan, where I completed an internship, and in Spain, which I consider my second home after Italy.
My blog is a mix of travel journalism and storytelling, and each article is an open window to new adventures: for the most part you’ll find stories of remote corners of some natural paradise, but also lots of tips on sustainable travel and exclusive reports on the lives of the locals I meet along the way. Through my words I hope to inspire you and help you plan the trip of your dreams!
My passion for travel eventually led me to turn my blog into something even bigger: Next Stop Ilha Grande, my successful travel agency based in Rio de Janeiro and Ilha Grande, Brazil. What started as a personal project has grown into a thriving travel business, built around creating unforgettable experiences in one of Brazil’s most beautiful destinations.
